Bloom Girl Sharon Book Box for Puerto Rico Class.. I'm leaving TONIGHT!

 Hey crafty peeps!
It's my turn to post over on the Bloom Girl DT Blog.
I have used my Bloom Girl Sharon Stamp. Which I just LOVE! I colored her in using my Copics. The flowers and papers are by Prima. This collection is so super cute, it's called Coffee Break.

Tomorrow I'll be heading out to Puerto Rico and this is actually one of the projects we are making this Saturday at Scrapbooking Gallery PR. I've been pretty busy this month I haven't had any time to do any You Tube Videos.. which makes me sad. I come home from Puerto Rico on Sunday evening, I work Monday, Tuesday teach on Wednesday and back to work Thursday - Monday.. then the following week I have 2 more classes. Will things ever slow down? I'll tell ya my bags under my eyes are sure going to weigh me down!

Oh, plus Halloween, and on the 30th my son is turning 16!! My baby boy!! :o(

Now let's get inspired and start hoppin'

Here's my project. I used 3 of my favorite Bloom Girl Stamps, Summer, Gardenia and Jing. I stamped them on kraft cardstock and then I used my Faber-Castell Water Colored Pencils for the pops of pink in the stamped flowers. I really love the way this came out. I had seen a collage of inspirational words on a canvas and I loved the way it looked so I sort of interpreted that in my own way with this card. Then I stamped a matching candle. Such a cute little gift set, don't you think?

I hope you enjoy our hop! Good Luck with the give-a-way!

Fun Stampers Journey!

Hello all!
Today I have a fun little project to share. I've recently joined Fun Stampers Journey. I'll be honest, I saw the amazing starter kit and couldn't resist! Spellbinders is a partner with FSJ so you get a Journey Grand (Exclusive Grey Grand Calibur) in your kit, rolling tote, stamps, exclusive Spellbinders Dies and coordinating stamps.. and your website is FREE!!!! Since my Big Shot died last month I thought what the heck! Plus the quarterly minimum is only $150! Easy Peasy! :) Then the more I looked into it and after receiving my kit, I thought what an amazing opportunity to be at the start of this company. A year ago I had the privilege to meet Richard and his wife, they came to one of my Copic Classes. It's really wonderful to see how much Fun Stampers Journey has grown since then. The first 500 Coaches will be the 'Founding Journey Coaches', oh, and the FIRST Stampers Journey Convention will be in Arizona next June! So we shall see what my new 'Journey' will bring me! I'm a little excited. :o)

This Birthday card was made using Birthday Sketch, which is in my kit. I've also used the Pennants Die set which is out of stock. I stamped my cupcake in Memento Desert Sand and used my Copics to Color. Then I took the Journey Glaze and along the outline of the cupcake's frosting I added the glaze and sprinkled with some Journey Sparkle Dust.

I hope you all have a great day!

Limor Webber Designs FIRST DT post!

Hello everyone!!
Today is a very exciting day! It's my first post on Limor Webber's Design Team! I couldn't be more happier to be apart of this! :o)

I decided to make a canvas for my first project. I took the colors out of my daughters' comforters and then matched them to my Gelatos®.

First I laid a coat of white Gesso, then I created a rainbow using my Gelatos®  and at first it was very bold and the color was a little too bold compared to my girls' room. So I added more water and blotted the canvas until it lightened. Once it was dry I took my Gelatos® Double Scoop® Color – Black Licorice and went around the entire canvas, I used my finger and pulled some of the black into the rainbow in the same direction. I used the Prima “Bubbles” Stencil  and added bubbles with some molding paste. I shaved off some of all of the Gelatos® and added just a little bit of water over each of the shavings. Then I used my heat tool over them and it was such a cool effect! It bubbled and expanded and left some great texture to the canvas!

I added my quote in some sticker letters and then decided to add some Tim Holtz Rub Ons, Crystal Circles. Then I got out this amazing stamp, IndigoBlu Bubbles Background and stamped all around the canvas and also on the wooden butterflies. I was just about finished and I wanted my bubbles to pop out a little more so I took my Water-colored pencils and traced some of the larger bubbles to define them a little.

One more thing I just HAD to add -- Glass Bead Glitter Gel.. just a little on the bubbles!

I really LOVE this and so do my girls. I hope you all like it!
Have a wonderful day!

Zombie Bloom Girl Gardenia!

Hi there crafty peeps!

It's my turn to post on the Bloom Girls Design Team Blog. Since we have a gorgeous color combo/inspiration board I thought I'd make a Halloween Card. I used the Gardenia Bloom Girl Stamp. I wanted to make her look like a vampire or zombie, so I colored her lightly in my skin tone colors E11, E00, E000 then I went back with W5, W3, W1 and W00 to give her that 'dead pasty look'. I love the way it turned out. I had some flowers on this, but I thought it took away from the image, Soooo this was a no flower card. Shocking, right!?

If you would like to participate in this months challenge you can do so over on the
Bloom Girl Design Team Blog. You don't have to use a Bloom Girl Stamp to enter.. and you could win a fabulous prize from Jamie Dougherty!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

LOTV Halloween -- BOO!

Happy October 1st! I can't believe it's already October! :)

Fall is my favorite time of year.
The crisp cool air, the colors of the trees and the anticipation of the Holidays.

Today I have a card to share using this adorable image from Lili of the Valley, 'Halloween'
I've colored using my Copics. I'm not sure why, but I'm really liking the less cluttered card lately. I'm not going to say simple or less detailed because this took me over 2 hours to color. LOL. I was going for the foggy look. After editing the photo I wish I would have went darker in the sky..
oh well, next time.

I hope you are all having a wonderful week.
