Hi there everyone.

 

I made this card the other day and I LOVE the way it came out. I really need to do some simpler cards. I really do love the look. I think this Lili of the Valley image is adorable. I wanted the cardbord box to look really worn and 'played in'. The wood veeners really make this card. I need to get more of these. I just ♥ them!!!

 

Well, I'm off to bed. I work in the morning. I should be home around 4.. after I feed my little monkeys I think I have a date.. in my craft armoire! :)

I just wanted to share a layout I made a few weeks ago.

I used Fancy Pants Trend Setter Collection papers, buttons, clips, stickers and banner strips.

I also used my stencil with the Dr. Seuss quote from the Fancy Pants Designs Artist Edition Collection.. We are all HUGE fans and read his books every week. I am just so amazed with Katie's reading. She has been able to fully read books in the last 2 months and it just melts my heart!!

 

Well, busy weekend ahead, grocery shopping, work, cleaning, crafts, blog post scheduling, kids, cooking..oh my!

New Challenge at Wild Orchid Crafts and some other stuff to share!

Here's my card for the new challenge at Wild Orchid Crafts. Our theme is to use 3 or more different types of flowers. I have used roses, cherry blossoms and lilies.

Lili of the Valley Vintage Boys Blog Hop!

Today we are holding a Lili of the Valley design team blog hop to celebrate the launch of their gorgeous new Vintage Boy stamps

Magnolia-licious Mini Monday!

It's my turn for Mini Monday's at Magnolia-licious. I've used the adorable little

Mini Tilda in Ballet Shoes. I know sometimes it's hard using such a small stamp on a large 6x6 card so sometimes you just have to make yourself a little scene. I did that by stamping this image in a row, and coloring some hardwood floor under their little feet!

 

I have a class at CMC on creating Hardwood Floor in my This and That Class.

Magnolia-licious challenge - dig out your vellum!

Hello there crafty peeps!

 

Today I'm showing you a card for the new challenge at Magnolia-licious. We are to use Vellum. At first I was going to do a little box and I had all my papers layed out.. then I seen how when you lay the vellum on a  piece of paper it lightens the one on the bottom. Well I thought using the vellum for matting would be a great way for people to use it ..easily. Then I used the printed vellum from

 Elle's Studio.. the hearts vellum and the striped vellum that I stamped my sentiment on.

New Challenge at Wild Orchid Crafts - Twine!

Hi everyone.

Today there's a new challenge at Wild Orchid Crafts. Our theme is to use Twine. I've taken twine and wrapped it around my whole card, in no particular way. I l ove the texture you get when you do this.

 

I wanted this card to be light and Spring-ish. Therefore, I didn't do any shading with my greys.

Hi there everyone!

 

I just love this Teresa Collins paper pad. It's so fresh and and very girly! I just had to use this Lili of the Valley image - Saucer of Milk. I just love these adorable images. They are so much fun to color.

 

Well, this week has been draining.. my kids have been so sick. My oldest daughter has been home from school for the last 3 days. Coughing, fever, sneezing, yadda yadda.. just like the Nyquil commercial. I hope she's better soon.. My youngest has it, too. Just not as bad.

 

Well, I'm off. Have a great weekend. I will be home... coloring. :)
